I have studied music composition, international relations, conflict theory, and anthropology, and I’ve worked in mediation, dialogue, grant writing, education, and community development. As a returned Peace Corps Volunteer and a Navy wife, I am comfortable with a wide variety of cultural identities and backgrounds. As a marathon runner, I know the value of long-term planning towards future goals (and getting a good night's sleep). I draw strengths of patience and attentive listening from my background as a mediator, musician, and mother.

I have an MA in International Conflict Resolution and an MA in Cultural Anthropology. A graduate of the Institute for Life Coach Training, I am a certified coach with specialization in leadership and relationship coaching. I am an Associate Certified Coach credentialed by the International Coaching Federation.
